$34.99 .com Domain Name Registration (as of October 27th, 2009).
$34.99 .com Domain Name Registration (as of January 15th, 2008).
This is the current incarnation of the "grand-daddy" of the domain name registrars. Originally dubbed "The InterNic" (a division of the US Federal Trade Commission), in the early days of the Internet it was for some time it was the only place to get a domain name. Later it evolved into Network Solutions. Then Network Solutions was purchased by VeriSign. Apparently, it is now yet a different company. Pricier than many competitors, seems like they are not really trying to make their rates competitive with the domain name registration marketplace.
